What accents do you do?

My most commonly requested accents are General/Standard American, British RP, and UK and US regional accents, but I am experienced in a wide array of others, including Australian, Albanian, Russian and South African. I have also worked with idiolects - teaching actors to replicate the speech patterns of a single person. If you've had a more obscure request and would like to work with me, get in touch, and we'll have  a chat.

Do you work with children?

​

Yes, I've worked with hundreds of young actors online, in young actors' agency workshops, and on film sets. The youngest I will teach is 6 years old. I recommend parents or guardians supervise at least the first session if the actor is under 16 years old.

I've never had accent lessons before. Is that a problem?

​

No, not at all. Both my 1-to-1 sessions and my group workshops are designed for all levels of experience. We all have to start somewhere!

I'd like an in person session. Can you come to my home?

​

I am currently only running sessions online.

Do you offer a free taster session/consultation/chemistry call?

​

No. ​

 

Can I record our session?

 

Yes, I'm happy for you to record the audio from a 1-to-1 session, but you do not have permission to share this with others - if you do so, I will not run any further sessions with you.

 

I ask that group workshops are not photographed or filmed without my permission, and in the case of under 18s being in the workshop, permission from their parents or guardians may also be required.

I've had an audition/casting/job come up that clashes with our booking! What should I do?

​

Drop me an email. I'm an actor as well, I'm used to the hectic and fast-moving schedules we have. Let me know with as much notice as possible and it's highly likely we'll be able to reschedule. If you have to cancel completely, please make sure you check the cancellations policy before doing so as you may be invoiced if you cancel without adequate notice.​

Can I share a 1-to-1 session with someone else?

​

I offer 2-to-1 shared sessions at a different rate - drop me an email.

I'm directing/producing/performing in a play, and the cast need an accent. Can you do a session for us?

​
