What accents do you do?

I specialise in UK regional accents, RP (Received Pronunciation) and 'General' American, but I'm familiar with a wide range of accents. If there's another accent you're interested in learning, drop me an email - if I can help you I will, and if I can't, I'll recommend someone who can.

Do you work with children?

​

Yes! I have an enhanced DBS. I've taught children in 1-to-1 sessions from as young as 8, and I work as an actor in Theatre in Education with children as young as 3. References are available if you'd like extra reassurance.

I've never had accent lessons before. Is that a problem?

​

No, not at all. Both my 1-to-1 sessions and my group workshops are designed for all levels of experience.

I'd like an in person session. Can you come to my home?

​

If it's within an hour of my base in Sutton (calculated from either Sutton Station or Sutton Common Station), I can come to you, as long as my travel cost is covered.

Can I record our session?

 

Yes, I'm happy for you to record the audio from the session. I ask that group workshops are not photographed or filmed without my permission, and in the case of under 18s being in the workshop, permission from their parents or guardians may also be required.

I've had an audition/casting/job come up that clashes with our booking! What should I do?

​

Drop me an email. I'm an actor as well, I'm used to the hectic and fast-moving schedules we have. Let me know with as much notice as possible and it's highly likely we'll be able to reschedule. If you have to cancel completely, please make sure you check the cancellations policy before doing so as you may be invoiced if you cancel without adequate notice.

Can I book a half-hour session?

​

Not at this time, the minimum is one hour and the maximum is three.

​

Can I share a session with someone else?

​

No. Sessions can be booked back to back, so for example you could have 1pm-2pm and your friend 2pm-3pm, and you're welcome to sit in and listen, but 1-to-1 sessions are just that - one person at a time. If you'd like a session for more than one person, send me an email to ask about small group workshops.

I'm directing/producing/performing in a play, and the cast need an accent. Can you do a session for us?

​
